I love dressing up for occasions, and I believe everyday of your life is an occasion – each day is special for all the opportunities it brings. You never know who you’ll meet today: an old friend, a future lover, a potential client/employer – the possibilities are endless. If you want to create a lasting impression every time you meet people (and I’m sure we all want that), then you know the saying: ‘People like people who like themselves’ – in other words, ‘you’ come first.  This notion is far from vanity; in fact let me tell you, vanity leads one nowhere. Instead, this is about presenting yourself in the best way you can imagine – being the best you can be – in both personality and looks. While this website revolves around the looks department, there’s no denying that much of your personality is governed by your looks!

And part of being an optimist, is being a realist – the reality being, the looming economy. Saving is the new spending – and there’s nothing more happening than a bargain; nothing more fashionable than channelling your creative side with those cheap shoes, cheap clothes, cheap dresses and cheap fashion accessories.  The word is ‘fashionably cheap’. The economic downturn shouldn’t control the fashionista in you – you control the situation!

And that’s what Fashionably Cheap is all about in a nutshell; dedicated to the stylish, money-wise, go-getter like you and I.
